DIY forest færie bag! (Handmade, all natural)

All you need is a small trip to the forest to pick some blue berries, some green leaves and some roots for the natural green/blue color of the leather. 

The bag can be as big or as small as you like! The design I made is just a basic one, big enough for a mini iPad, a wireless mini keyboard and the cables. You can make your bag as big as you wish :) 

Let your imagination go wild! 

Here is just a quick idea on how SIMPLE it is! 

In this first picture, the leather on the bottom was still wet with all the blueberries (or any wild berries you may find that give a blue color when juiced/leaves and root coloring... once dry, you will notice it will start changing color to have a tint of blueish purple-ish, greenish hues all over :)

Making Viking Belt bags - the old way...

This summer, I will be participating in Viking markets around Norway, so I had to prepare many items, as authentic as possible, to be able to display and sell them at the markets. I started making leather crafts without having any prior experience in leather work, I just gave it a try a few years ago, and it worked! DIY Leather Steampunk inspired Corset-Belt tutorial.

A couple of weeks ago, the weather in Norway was super hot and summery, which is something that has not happened in the last four years. Everyone (except me) was happy for all the sun and heat out there... People were enjoying the weather, walking around in bikinis... sun bathing on the grass in the middle of downtown... the pubs and restaurants were full, the city was once again ALIVE after the long dark winter.  But as soon as people barely started getting used to the heat that a cold wave hit the coutry, first starting with cold northern winds... but it was not cold enough to go back to winter clothing.
