BLIND LOVE?




The heart does not emphasize on color, race, gender, wealth, social status, bodyshape or any other shallow aspect when it loves.

Love IS blind to all that societal mumbo jumbo... it's the mind that's the problem...

 You love your child even if he/she is ill, deformed, or even not up to the "standards of beauty".

A child is a small human being now... you love it because it's innocent and harmless, he/she has no shame nor hand in the situation.

That same child will become an adult, and will be loved by someone who remembers that this person was once a child, and love them the same way.

Every person is someone's child... we have no say in what genes we carry... let's just understand this once and for all... no race is better than another. It's what you make of yourself that matters. How you build yourself, personality, knowledge and life.

In a couple of hundred years there will be no more races... we will be so mixed that no person will be able to say I am pure this and pure that... Come one people, there are more important things than that.

This specie we belong to, like any other is trying to survive the changes in the planet, both the manmade ones and the planetary ones...

 The only constant thing is CHANGE. People who are pure white can have a child that is dark, if they both carry the genes... the same for a dark skinned couple having a light eyecolored child... There is nothing bad about it. The babies have no guilt, no shame, so let's stop finding silly excuses to add to the list of categories we so love to apply to others.

Instead of focusing your curiosity on the origins of others, why not invest some time in your own origins, see where your family comes from... study a bit, read, educate yourself... you will notice that even you are not pure anything anymore. Be proud of who you are no matter where you come from now... in the end we all came from this planet, or as some may say, we all came from monkeys!

Making Viking Belt bags - the old way...

This summer, I will be participating in Viking markets around Norway, so I had to prepare many items, as authentic as possible, to be able to display and sell them at the markets. I started making leather crafts without having any prior experience in leather work, I just gave it a try a few years ago, and it worked! Now, I just learn as I go, and I believe I am doing quite well, and people who see and buy my work keep telling me so... which is the encouragement I need to keep improving and doing new things, expanding my horizons, in a way. All my life, sharing details of my life has been an issue for me. I was always the listener, the problem solver for everyone else but myself. People always saw me as the smart girl with the good sense of humor, that always finds a way to laugh even in the darkest times. Others saw me as mysterious and dark... and did not like it.
