This summer, I will be participating in Viking markets around Norway, so I had to prepare many items, as authentic as possible, to be able to display and sell them at the markets. I started making leather crafts without having any prior experience in leather work, I just gave it a try a few years ago, and it worked! Now, I just learn as I go, and I believe I am doing quite well, and people who see and buy my work keep telling me so... which is the encouragement I need to keep improving and doing new things, expanding my horizons, in a way. A couple of weeks ago, the weather in Norway was super hot and summery, which is something that has not happened in the last four years. Everyone (except me) was happy for all the sun and heat out there... People were enjoying the weather, walking around in bikinis... sun bathing on the grass in the middle of downtown... the pubs and restaurants were full, the city was once again ALIVE after the long dark winter. But as soon as people barely started getting used to the heat that a cold wave hit the coutry, first starting with cold northern winds... but it was not cold enough to go back to winter clothing. It's the most annoying type of weather when you don't really know what to wear! If you dress up in summer clothes, you'd freeze, if you dress up in winter clothes, you'd suffocate!
