I spent my birth day yesterday with this lady in red... Hope next year I will actually celebrate something... This year I just celebrated my sanity, or what is left of it...

Making Viking Belt bags - the old way...

This summer, I will be participating in Viking markets around Norway, so I had to prepare many items, as authentic as possible, to be able to display and sell them at the markets. I started making leather crafts without having any prior experience in leather work, I just gave it a try a few years ago, and it worked! Now, I just learn as I go, and I believe I am doing quite well, and people who see and buy my work keep telling me so... which is the encouragement I need to keep improving and doing new things, expanding my horizons, in a way. It's crazy how the law is divergent from common practice, even in the most "humanitarian" of countries of this planet. It seems domestic violence is just another means to get attention, a pat on the back, cut ribbons and receive awards for the officials! While in reality, on the ground, in real life... the victims are being interrogated, subjected to a huge load of stress, trauma, insecurity, fear and invalidation... eventually to be expelled from countries that take pride in taking domestic violence seriously, or at least all websites and well paid advertisements say so.
